MENSTRUAL HEALTH CAMPAIGN AT JUNIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL DURUMI, ABUJA, NIGERIA.

The Foundation, in partnership with Give Girls a Chance, organized a Menstrual Health Campaign at JSS Durumi. The outreach held on the 20th June, 2018. EGCF donated 100 sanitary pads, detergents and soaps to the girls. The activity aimed at sensitizing, educating and empowering the school girls on the importance of personal hygiene before, during and after the menstrual cycle. The campaign centered around the relevance of Water supply, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) and the biological processes to Menstruation.
