Durumi Outreach to mark the World Children’s Day 2018, Envision Global Care Foundation organized an outreach to an Internally Displaced Persons Camp Primary School at Durumi.
Date: 20 th November 2017.
To reach out to the less privileged children and show them love and support.
To have a discussion with the children on Sex Education.
To ascertain if the camp would become the adopted camp of the Foundation.
Overview of activity:
To commemorate with the World Children’s Day, Envision Global Care Foundation organized an
outreach to an Internally Displaced Persons Camp Primary School at Durumi. The team was
accompanied by a researcher from Full Bright Program in the United States (Florby Darme), and his
assistant from Wellbeing Foundation (WBFA). Other agencies were also present at the IDP primary
school to celebrate with them. One of such agencies was the Child Aid and Support Awareness
The Foundation celebrated with the children by getting them to participate in hand washing activities;
teaching them on the subject matter of hygiene; provided them with snacks and drinks, chalk sticks for
the black board, Envision customized notebooks and assessment cards (which was requested by the
school head teacher as a dire need).
The World Children’s Day Outreach activities conducted included:
Hand washing activities.
Discussion on the topic of hygiene.
Songs and Games.
Distribution of education materials.
Distribution of snacks and drinks.
